In
Kaplan's study text Module 3, the answer to the selected multiple
choice questions are: c, d, d, c and a. |
| |
NOPAT, RI, ROCE. Are examable? NOPAT = net operating profit after
tax = income after tax but without interest expense, used many
times to calculation FCF to calculate firm value. RI = residual
income = same as the value added calculation in Module 2. ROCE
= return on capital employed, capital employed = debt + equity
and ROCE usually approximate ROA. They should be examable because
these are just basic financial ratios that anyone in accounting
and finance should be very familiar with. |
